Valwood closed out on a 14-1 five-inning victory against the Deerfield Windsor on Tuesday in Albany.
The Valiants started out hot, scoring four and tallying at least one run in each inning, including two in the second, one in the third and fourth, and six in the fifth to secure the win.
Thirteen hits were recorded by Valwood batters, while pitchers Ansley Bennet and Darcee Brown held Deerfield Windsor to just four combined hits.
Bri Fosdick, Mary Clare Martin, Ansley Haskard, and Brown each had two hits during the game. Every Valiant in the lineup had at least one hit.
Valwood returns home today for a game against Brookwood School. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
