HAHIRA — Valwood School seniors Chandler Call, Hope Hathcock and John Miller received James D. Eunice Legacy Scholarships.
The scholarships were presented on May 17 by Tammy Eunice, James D. Eunice’s mother.
Chandler and Hope began attending Valwood in pre-K. Chandler is the daughter of Tom and Kelly Call. Hope is the daughter of Hugh and Judy Hathcock.
John Miller joined the Valwood class of 2018 in eighth grade. He is the son of Greg and Mary Ann Miller.
The James Eunice Legacy Fund presents $500 scholarships annually to graduating seniors to continue James’ legacy of investing in others, according to release.
Applicants must be a graduating senior from a South Georgia High School. All applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.50, must reside in the United States and be enrolled or intend to enroll in a post-secondary college, technical college or university in the United States.
According to release, the scholarship is awarded on the basis of academics, leadership qualities, extracurricular school activities, character, community service and personal integrity.
