Science Olympiad Places 3rd

The Valwood Science Olympiad team placed 3rd out of an 11-team field in the Regional Competition this weekend at East Georgia State College in Swainsboro, GA. Competing against much larger schools, the Valiants held their own and only missed making the State Competition field by one spot. Valwood had 14 medal winners, including four 2nd place finishes, and 8 ribbon winners.
